Sixers: Controversial Giannis Antetokounmpo No-Call Sparks Philly Outrage

The Philadelphia 76ers 118-117 defeat in their season opener against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday, October 26, at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.
In a game where every play mattered, Sixers fans lamented a missed call involving Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
With under four minutes remaining in the game, the 2021 NBA Finals MVP seemed to retrieve his rebound after an airball, ultimately leading to a critical three-pointer by new acquisition Damian Lillard, which gave the Bucks the lead.

Travel or good no-call? ๐ค
According to the NBA's rulebook in Article 10, Section XIII (f), .
"A player who attempts a field goal may not be the first to touch the ball if it fails to touch the backboard, basket ring or another player," the rulebook states.
Considering the Sixers lost the game by just one point, it's uncertain how the outcome might have changed if the correct call had been made.
Fans outraged by missed call on Giannis Antetokoumpo
Numerous fans voiced their frustration over the uncalled traveling violation on Antetokounmpo that resulted in a significant shift in momentum as Lillard made a three-pointer.
